Candace Cameron Bure has a new reason to celebrate. The Full House star announced on Oct. 8 that her daughter Natasha Bure Perry and son-in-law Bradley S. Perry welcomed a baby girl named Winnie. It’s the second grandchild for Bure, who posted that she now has a grandchild to hold in each arm. “Dreams really do come true,” she wrote. “We love you so much Winnie sweet pea.”
The new arrival comes with a couple of details fans are loving. Winnie’s middle name, Helaine, is the same as Candace’s middle name, a sweet tribute carried into the next generation. And the grandparent names in this family are anything but ordinary: Candace goes by CandyGram, while her husband Valeri Bure goes by Deda. Natasha, 28, the oldest of Bure’s three children, added “Winnie’s Mom” to her Instagram bio, and new dad Bradley, 27, also shared photos welcoming his daughter. Well-wishes came in from Lori Loughlin and Taylor Lautner, among others.
For a family that has spent decades in the public eye, this milestone feels refreshingly normal. It’s a reminder that becoming a grandparent is one of those moments that brings joy no matter who you are. Winnie is already surrounded by a whole lot of love, plus a grandma with a nickname nobody is going to forget.
