The Westfield Wildcats gave fans a Friday night to remember, rallying from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Central Eagles, 28–24. After struggling to find their rhythm early, the Wildcats came alive late in the game with two scoring drives and a huge defensive stop in the final minutes.
Senior quarterback Jake Miller helped lead the comeback, connecting on two touchdown passes and finishing the night with more than 200 yards through the air. The Wildcats' defense sealed the victory with an interception on Central’s final possession.
With the win, Westfield continues its strong start to the season and now turns its attention to another important conference matchup next Friday night.
